: The King of Bhangra is back but sadly this album lacks the punch of his earlier 3- 4 albums. However there is plenty of energy flowing around here and besides the usual dose of bhangra numbers there are a couple of slow songs that deviate from what we normally associate with Daler Mehndi. Alas even these songs lose their shine after a couple of hearings. No repeat value at all.

: Paisa Paisa is the first song of this album and has the usual Daler flavour with lots of Dhols and the usual Punjabi music but minus the potential to become a big hit as either Dardi Rab Rab or Bolo Tara Ra Ra. Similarly Nach Ni Shaam Kaure also suffers from the same thing but it does get your feet tapping for some time atleast!!! Then comes Chhaju Baniya that starts off with a very contemporary sound but then meanders along the way. Must add here that this number has one of the most annoying choruses of all times.

: Jogi does register and leave an impact and is nothing like the earlier numbers. Infact this songs deviates from the regular bhangra music. Once again with a modern arrangement, it makes for a repeat listening. In the same mood is Sunna Sunna. Another slow number and the sound is a mixture of Punjabi and other elements too but somehow it sounds very jaded. Tera Na Leke is a sufiyana kind of sad song with a lot of tabla interludes. After all the noise this definitely comes as a welcome and pleasant surprise.

: Side B is a let down too. Ni Jinde is the usual run of the mill song with nothing new to offer followed by Dig Dig Daisy from Dalerís earlier album Lehriya and a song that we all can very well do without. The last two numbers Laage Na Jiya and Kala Kauwa are very average and run of the mill. Kala Kauwa is very much on the lines of a filmi song but it does get on your nerves after a point of time.

: For die hard Daler Mehndi fans, the Punjabi beats will keep your feet tapping but do not expect too much from this one.
