guddiyan means kites..
guddiyan ve guddiyan asi wich asmaani uudiyan..
and poatole does comes with guddiyan... ie guddiyan potole together means that the dolls with whom the smaal children plays..
babul merian guddiyan tere ghar reah giyan..

so it ake it that gudian means kites...but i still dont quite understand what u mean by patole...are patole dolls?...
coz in one of gms songs (kithe gaya kheda)...he says..
"gudduya paotole'ch,guddi da viah (wedding) si, nike nike hundiya de nike nike cha si..."...
so i thought hes referring to when small kids pretend thier dolls getting married....

veer punjabi ch ikk gall de 100 100 matlab hann.. guddiyan patole da matlab hai k jehdian dolls naal bache khed de hann..
guddiyan potoleian ch guddi da viyah.. means jyaada sarian dolls ch ikk da viyah.. so like this..
